I had been searching high and low for the best event heels. You know the ones: the heels that have the perfect combination of class, glamour, and bling that you can wear to a party, a schmancy dinner, or even to a wedding. The epitome of these, I have found in the Dune London Maysi Heels.
With some weddings to attend on the horizon, this pair tick all the right boxes and are super comfortable to boot. Literally, I only usually wear block heels because I'm such a klutz; but these pair - boy oh boy, I can run in them!
They don't come cheap though, with an MRP of ₹12,999, they were wayyy out of my budget initially. Thanks to the amazing sales that were running on AJIO, though, I managed to snap them up at a little over five grand. Thank the stars!
I bought the first pair in my usual shoe size - UK 4, EU 37, US 6.5 - but I've realized that Dune London shoes do run a bit large so it's better to get one size smaller than your usual.
Dune London does an alternative pair where there's an added ankle strap, should you need more security and don't want your heels flying off while you're busting a move on any dancefloor.
The Maysi pair I got is an absolute dream. An investment for sure, but so worth it because of their versatility, comfort, and ability to draw gasps from everyone I've modeled them on for so far.
